Sports, Arts and Science

Our camps have a rich diversity of activities each week, giving campers variety to keep them engaged and having as much fun as possible

Free extended hours

We offer free morning care from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and aftercare from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. We know parents are very busy!

Field trips for age 5 and above

Every Wednesday we go on fun-filled field trips to various locations around the Bay Area!

Our mission

At Le Camp d’Eté, we focus on language acquisition for children through verbal, written, and reading exercises as well as through participation in a myriad of outdoor activities, sports, and games. Previous exposure to French language is not required. We offer a valuable experience for all children!

Le Camp d’Eté is an extension program of Ecole Bilingue de Berkeley providing a unique Preschool to 8th Grade bilingual program that develops students into curious, confident and creative learners. Children will learn and/or expand French skills in a nurturing and fun atmosphere on our campus in West Berkeley.

Attend the Open House on April 7!

Would you like to get a glimpse of the facilities and learn more about the camp? Come meet the camp director and ask any questions you have during the camp open house on Saturday, April 7 from 11:00am until noon.

Four weeks of camp

Monday July 23rd to

Friday August 17th 2018

The campus is located at 1009 Heinz Avenue in Berkeley at the corner of Heinz Avenue and Ninth Street. It houses all of the classes from preschool through fifth grade, as well as a library (open to parents!), science lab, multi-purpose room, art and music rooms, as well as a small gym with gymnastics and tumbling equipment. The main courtyard is home to a large play structure, and lots of room to run and play. The preschool classes have their own yard and play structure. Our newly renovated school garden is in the small courtyard.
