Designed to teach the fundamentals of the French language (and/or to maintain the knowledge of French), the classes take place each day (except for field trip days) for two periods of 60 minutes each and are taught by native and experienced French instructors. Classes use fun, hands-on activities to help promote the lessons.
The objective of this program is to introduce children to the French language and culture at an early age, when they still have a linguistic openness and can easily learn a second language.
The curriculum promotes the development of speaking, listening and application. The classes are designed for both beginners and intermediate French speakers. Prior French is not required. At Le Camp d'Été, we believe that the recipe for a successful summer consists of the right mix between languages, sports, arts, sciences and performing arts. We strive for dedication to rich daily experiences. Afternoon activities include:

We like to celebrate the end of each week with a Friday Funday! Each week will bring a new bounce house, entertainment and fun for all our campers. Activities change weekly and include: face painting, carnival treats, bring-your-wheels day, talent showcases, splash day, theme parties and many more fun activities that help make those lasting camp memories.
Field trips will take place every Wednesday and will be to a variety of fun destinations such as museums, parks, beaches, zoos, and other local bay area locations. We charter yellow buses to all field trips (except for local park in walking distance). Field trips will be announced in April and listed on this website.

Cancellations/Refunds Policy: In recognition that Le Camp d’Été must make advance operational decisions, registration fees are not refundable if cancellation is made after June 01, 2024.
Registrations cancelled on or before June 01, 2024 will be refunded less a $75 processing fee per session cancelled.
